About the firm
Aero Zug Capital finances commercial aircraft owners and operators. We underwrite the aircraft first — its condition, its market, its operating life — and structure capital around that.
Who we are
Meridian was founded to close a gap in aviation finance: most lenders price aircraft like generic collateral, without the technical grounding to underwrite what the asset is actually worth through a full maintenance and market cycle.
We work with owners, operators, and lessors on individual aircraft and multi-asset portfolios, providing asset-based lending, sale-leaseback, pre-delivery payment finance, and portfolio structuring across commercial fleets.
Every transaction is underwritten directly by our team, with independent technical appraisal built into the process from the first conversation — not added afterward to satisfy a committee.
Principles
Four commitments that shape every transaction, from first appraisal to final payoff.
Independent appraisal and maintenance review inform every facility before terms are set, not after.
You deal with the people making the credit decision throughout the transaction, start to close.
Terms are built to hold through maintenance events, lease rollover, and shifts in the aircraft's market.
We hold and manage facilities through their full term rather than originating to sell down risk.
Tell us about the aircraft, the operator, and the financing you need — we typically respond within two business days.
